Management

Kjell-Morten Johnsen is Head of Telenor D.O.O. and Senior Vice President of Telenor Central and Eastern Europe. Mr. Johnsen is also Member of the Board of Directors of VimpelCom.
Until February 2008 he was Member of the Board of Directors of Golden Telecom, and also Chairman of the Executive Committee of Golden Telecom. From 2001 to 2006, Mr. Johnsen worked as Vice President of Telenor Networks with responsibility for Telenor’s fixed line activities in Russia and the CIS.
Before joining Telenor in 2000, Mr. Johnsen worked for the Norwegian group Norsk Hydro where he held executive positions both as Country Manager in the Ukraine and as a manager at the regional headquarters for the CIS, Africa and Latin America, based in Paris, - and for Scandsea International AB. This work was also connected with the Russian and Ukrainian markets.

Mr. Johnsen holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. He studied Russian at a military academy during his military service.
Kjell-Morten Johnsen is married and has three children.

 
Chief Financial Officer, Erlan Netten has been with Telenor Group for five years as Head of Group Internal Audit in Telenor ASA and has extensive knowledge of the Group's business. His 24 years in KPMG - last 10 as a partner - started in audit and advisory services. His clients included a wide range of international corporations. Erlan also served as head of KPMG Financial Advisory Services. His responsibility covered both development of a new line of business and all technical issues within transaction services. In addition, he worked on establishment, management and business development of KPMG Financial Advisory Services for several years. Erlan held leadership positions internationally, working particularly in Central and Eastern Europe. Erlan has a degree in Economy and Management from the Norwegian School of Economy (NHH)and is a Certified Public Accountant in Norway. He is 52 years old, married and has one daughter.

 
 
Chief Human Resources Officer, Maja Neable, joined Telenor Serbia in 2007 and held several director level positions at Telenor including Director of Strategy, Director of Marketing Communications and Brand Director before assuming her current role.  Prior to joining Telenor, Maja held management positions in technical product groups at both Microsoft and Expedia Inc. in Washington State, USA. Here she led teams developing innovative online travel products.  Maja holds a degree in Mathematics and Operations Research with Computer Science minor from the University of Waterloo (Waterloo, Canada), and Masters of Business Administration from IMD (Lausanne, Switzerland).  She is an avid skier and a marathon runner, and is married with two children.

 
Chief Communications Officer Sandra Štajner was Corporate Communication and Public Affairs Director in Mobi 63. She joined Mobi 63 in June 2006. Before that, Ms. Štajner worked as Corporate Communications Director for pharmaceutical company “Actavis Balkan” from September 2004. She has extensive experience as an independent communications consultant and field producer in Serbia. Previously she worked as Satellite Operations Producer for Fox News in New York. Her TV experience also includes work as a Location Special Producer for Reuters TV in New York and Video Production Director for Belgrade based B92 during the early 90s. She holds a BA in Film & TV Production from the University of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade and MA in Media Communication from the University of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.

 
Chief Marketing Officer, Marek Slacik has sixteen years of experience in marketing. He entered the mobile telecommunications industry in 2001 as Marketing Manager Consumer Acquisitions & Channels in Oscar/Vodafone in the Czech Republic. He soon became Director, Acquisition, Terminals and Channel Marketing. In 2005 he transferred to Eurotel/Telefonica, as Marketing Director, and a year later became Marketing Director, Corporate and Government. At this position he was responsible for the application of a new marketing programme for business segment, as well as the new brand image of the companies Eurotel and Česky Telecom, under the brand Telefonica O2. As of 2006 he was Chief Marketing and Sales Officer of the newly founded company U:fon/MobilKom in Prague. It was at this position that he came up with the concept for and managed all sales channels, including: retail partners, “door to door“, retail shops, telesales and e-sales. He came to Telenor from Microsoft from the position of the Mobile Solutions Manager for Central Europe. Marek holds master’s degree in BA from the University of Economics in Prague. He likes jazz, modern art and architecture. He is active recreational sportsman. Speaks Czech, Slovak, English. He is married and has two children.

 
Chief Technology Officer, Øystein Mikkelsen has held a series of management positions in Telenor affiliates in several countries since 1995, focusing on technological management. Most recently he has been deputy CTO of VimpelCom in Russia with close to 50 million subscribers and where Telenor holds an economic stake of 29.9 per cent. Before joining VimpelCom in 2002, he held positions as CTO in DiGi.com in Malaysia from 2001 to 2002, Deputy CEO/CTO, Technical Director and Network Planning Director in Pannon GSM in Hungary from 1995. He then came from a job as project manager in Telenor Mobile in Norway, a position he took up in 1989. Mr. Mikkelsen has a Master of Science in Computer Science from Chalmers Technical University in Gothenburg, Sweden.

 
Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Goran Vasić has more than 14 years of experience in telecommunications business around the globe. He worked for Lucent in Thailand, Taiwan, and Australia, then with Ericsson in Israel, US and Mexico, before returning to Serbia in 2003. He has been with Telenor from 2006. After initial interim position, Vasić was engaged as Development Director within the Technology division. He was one of 19 managers from Group who participated in Group's Executive Management Programme for 2008, designed to prepare executive talents to take on top management positions in Telenor Group. He holds MSci in telecommunications. 
   
 

Chief Strategy Officer, Lars Godell was previously Vice President, Group Strategy, advising Telenor’s Group Executive Management in Oslo. Lars has spent around 16 years in the telecom industry. From 1995 he held various strategy and regulatory jobs on the fixed-line side of Telenor’s Norwegian business. In his most recent job he was responsible for the Group strategy process, industry insight, and Telenor’s relationships with global research firms. During his eight years as principal European telecom analyst with Forrester Research in Amsterdam he provided board-level advice to integrated fixed and mobile incumbent telcos and to firms preparing to enter the telecom market. He specialized in topics like industry restructuring and evaluating the business case for new technologies like 3G and IPTV/triple-play. As a result, in 2001 a Dutch magazine proclaimed him “the most influential telecom analyst in the world.” Before joining the telecom industry, Lars also worked as a management consultant for Arkwright in Oslo. He started his career as a sergeant and guard commander in the military police of the Norwegian Air Force. Lars acquired his Master’s degree of political science at the University of Oslo, and at the University of Chicago he received his Master of Business Administration degree. He was awarded a Fulbright scholarship for his US studies. Lars is fond of Nordic skiing, and is interested in wine and history.
