Service quality check

Measurements were carried out by an independent benchmark company. 
 
In early September, measurements were conducted on the territory of Vojvodina in 10 cities (Novi Sad, Subotica, Pančevo, Sremska Mitrovica, Sombor, Zranjanin, Vršac, Inđija, Kikinda, Bečej), with the objective of testing the quality of data transfer services of all mobile operators in Serbia and thus give the users a true picture of what they can get when it comes to mobile internet. 
 
Drive tests and stationary tests were made at the busiest locations in the mentioned cities, as agreed between Telenor and an independent company.  
 
The following services were tested:
 
  • HTTP download (5 MB mp3 file),
  • FTP upload (2MB jpg file),
  • web browsing (static and popular web pages) and
  • YouTube (broadcasting video clip of 30s).
